Principal, Brad Brown, is a real estate professional with over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, with one of the largest companies in the region, and in renovation and development of geographic specific properties under his own organization.

Who We Are

Brad Brown, Owner and Operator:

Brad Brown is the founder and operator of Castle Centerstone, Real Estate and Development, LLC. Brad is a long time resident of the area, living on a horse ranch in Sedalia. Of paramount significance, he has long participated with the Town in planning for intelligent growth of Castle Rock, with a primary focus on downtown area.

He helped facilitate swapping the land for the new Fire Station, for example, along with acting as the middle-owner in securing the old Safeway for the new County Library, bought the old Police Station so they could move to a more modern facility, and organized a new publishing plant and offices for the News Press on the west side of I 25, so the quasi-industrial use of their downtown location could be put to better use.

Before launching Castle Centerstone, Brad had more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate with one of the largest companies in the region, and who specialized in the renovation and leasing of historically significant properties. For 18 years, Brad served as Senior Vice President of Frederick Ross and was instrumental in the redevelopment of the Daniel Fisher Tower and the Equitable Building in Downtown Denver.

Other accomplishments include Former Businessman of the Year in Castle Rock, former member of the Downtown Denver Partnership, honored by Downtown Denver Realtors Association on Million Dollar Roundtable for 10 consecutive years, member Board of Directors of Castle Rock Economic Development Council, licensed Real Estate Broker, assisted the Town of Castle Rock trade parcels of land with the railroad for their new Fire Station, assisted Douglas County in their vision for a new library by acquiring and converting a former Safeway grocery store into the Phillip S. Miller Library, relocated the News Press to their current facility in Castle Rock, assisted in the redevelopment of the True Value shopping Center, and worked with Wells Fargo Bank to open a facility in downtown Castle Rock.

Dana Smith, Senior Real Estate Manager

Dana handles the day-to-day operations of property management for Castle Centerstone. She has been on the Castle Centerstone team for 4 years and brings over 20 years of commercial real estate experience to the organization. Dana has worked for commercial real estate giants such as: The Koll Company, Lowe Enterprises, CB Richard Ellis and a variety of smaller developers. Her knowledge, skills and experience are essential in keeping the property management running in a smooth and organized manner. She has a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and earned her RPA designation early in her career. Dana lives in Castle Rock and has two children.
